Your mission :
The recently created Center for Digital Trust (C4DT), housed at EPFL, brings together businesses, civil society, and policy actors to collaborate, share insights, shape the research agenda, and to gain early access to trust-building technologies. The center aims at becoming a global reference on the topic of digital trust.
The center has as mission to be a connector of ideas, people and organizations. This will be done by organizing events (conferences, seminars, workshops, …) and managing the C4DT partners community.
To support the team in achieving this ambitious goal, we are looking for an
Administrative & Finance Assistant (50%) W/M
Main duties and responsibilities include :
Financial management (budgeting, invoicing, reporting) of the Center
Staff administration (HR, coordination with central services)
Management of C4DT teams’ agendas (meetings, calls, …)
Organization of events (room booking, agenda editing and formatting, catering)
Organization of conferences, seminars, and of travel for the team
Expense management and follow-up
Provision of general support and logistics to the Center
Produce and maintain document repositories (contracts, publications, contacts, …)
Your profile :
Strong organizational skills
Previous experience as an administrative assistant at EPFL and/or in managing funds is a strong asset
Proactive and independent
Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken. Some command of German is welcome
Computer proficiency with a very good command of Excel/Word/Outlook
Good with figures and accounting (in particular with respect to external funds)
Proven ability to interact in a multicultural / international / industrial environment
Commercial background or education (CFC de Commerce or equivalent)
