Our site in Le Locle is searching for a Quality Technician!



Job responsibilities



Base Business



• Support the Quality Control VS, QE’s, QC and Operation’s teams (projects, improvement, validations, NR’s, etc…)

• Improvement of inspection methods, techniques.

• Edition and treatment of non conformities.

• Design of fixtures, gages, overlays

• Improve the inspection efficiency

• Maintenance 1st level of CMM’s / Verification of calibration

• Measure “tailor made” for FAI’s, DOE’s, validation or verification



New Products/Product/Process Qualification/Base Business projects



• Supports new product introduction (drawing review, definition of inspection techniques, etc..)

• Design of gages, fixtures, overlays

• Ensure effective quality strategies for automated programs validation

• Validate the APS measuring programs

• Perform gage R&R studies

• Create procedures and train operators/Inspectors/vendors

• Implement automated measuring machines including IQ’s and OQ’s if needed

• Technological watch for new measurement technologies.

Authorities

• Creation and approval of CA’s , CO’s and SEA’s

• Validation of automatic programs (end to end)

• Train operators, Inspectors and suppliers on measurement techniques/CMM’s programs




Qualifications

• CFC / Technician ET / BTS or equivalent in Mechanics

• Automatic programs development on 2D, 3D control equipments (Hexagon, VICI Vision…)

• Knowledge of Geometric, Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is required.

• Experience in Design and or Manufacturing

• Knowledge of CAD software (i.e: NX, ProE, Catia, Solidworks, other…)

• Experience in metrology and/or Quality Inspection

• Creative, proactive and able to take decisions

• Ability to work in a team

• Microsoft suite

• Project management

• Fluent in English (written and spoken = it is a must)

• Knowledge of statistical software packages is preferred with the ability to preview, graph and analyze data for APS (Measuring programs) validation.

• Good technical understanding of manufacturing processes is required.

• Team player and ability to connect and collaborate to all BU departments
