In this role, your main focus is developing and implementing processes and procedures according CI and Lean principals. The development of KPIs for reports, and the monthly delivery of reports is an important element of this role. In addition you define requirements for system improvements and provide overall guidelines, rules and training instructions, to assure efficient and accurate material handling. The unit oversees Business Processes and Reporting for Procurement and Logistics within Engine Services.
Your tasks
Reporting:
Define and implement metrics for supply chain and processes
Manage the reports and the reporting from and for the department
Process Management:
Support process owners in processes definition and documentation
Perform gab analysis on process documentations to ensure processes are well defined and up-to-date
Analyze processes for identifying of process optimizations and provide concepts for process optimization
Initiate process developments, implementations and improvement design
Develop, establish and publish supply chain standards, guidelines, rules and instructions
Continuous Improvement & Lean: Drive continuous improvement & lean activities in accordance with lean principals and methodology
Project Management: Project lead and/or team member for supply chain related process- and system implementations and improvements
Your profile
Commercial apprenticeship with additional degree in business administration or relevant academic degree
Several years of professional expertise in the area of Supply Chain or Purchasing
Previous work experience in a technical environment highly desired
Actual practical experience in the Aviation or MRO industry would be highly beneficial
Any certification relating to lean management and/or process management is considered a plus
Full professional proficiency in German and English (Level C1)
