Your responsibilities



  • Point of contact for all inventory surplus management related topics for all RUAG Aviation sites

  • Full operative responsibility along the surplus material management process

  • Leading a team of surplus management experts

  • Representing the supply chain towards all stakeholders within the surplus management process

  • Setting priorities, ensuring the fulfillment of predetermined goals and working along the SCM strategy with the team

  • Maintaining an active network with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. suppliers, buyers of surplus materials, etc.)

  • Compliance with Group standards and ethical principles incl. Trade Compliance Regulations


Your profile



  • Technical or commercial apprenticeship plus Bachelor in Economics or in Supply Chain Management

  • Experience in surplus management and sales

  • Initiative and communicative leader with high assertiveness and negotiation skills

  • Enthusiastic, results-oriented and strong in implementation skills

  • Former experience as an aircraft mechanic is a plus

  • Proficient in English and German
