About the Role


You are responsible for the development and maintenance of global Compliance Risk Frameworks and supporting the operational delivery of the Compliance Programme across Swiss Re.


 


Compliance Risk Framework Management:



  • Develop own subject matter expertise on global regulatory requirements, related Swiss Re processes and assurance activity results in relation to the assigned Compliance Risks.

  • Develop and maintain global policies, standards processes, training and awareness activities on Compliance Risks and other compliance topics (eg Integrity, Whistleblowing).

  • Contribute to Compliance reporting, presentations, KPIs and risk assessments in relation to assigned Compliance Risks and ensuring global reporting accurately reflects the risk across Swiss Re.

  • Develop and maintain compliance tools as necessary to ensure they are maintained to facilitate compliance risk mitigation (eg defining, prioritising and testing change requests, supporting training and awareness of the tools) and also to facilitate ease of use for employees.

  • Build Compliance Risk knowledge within Compliance by preparing and delivering training and reference materials and ensuring these remain up to date and easily accessible.

  • Maintain risk related information on the intranet sites for the assigned risks.


 


Delivery of the Compliance Programme



  • Support use of the Policy Management Tool and driving Swiss Re's Policy Governance (eg providing training on using the tool and policy governance requirements, monitoring timeliness of policy updates).

  • Support planning and development of Compliance eLearnings and the global training framework.

  • Support maintenance of the Compliance Academy (eg managing review process of materials, updating new materials on the tool, coordinating or developing new content and planning training sessions).


 


Other



  • Participate in Legal & Compliance Divisional and Compliance projects to support the delivery of Legal & Compliance Strategy and the Annual Compliance Plan.


 


About the Team


The Compliance Programme, Policies & Awareness team is part of the Compliance Governance Framework team which is a global team responsible for managing the entire Compliance Governance Framework group wide. Team members are located in Switzerland, US and Slovakia and come from a variety of backgrounds.


 


You will have the opportunity to work closely with members of the other teams within Compliance and other functions within Swiss Re such as IT, Communications, HR etc.


 


About You


Education & Experience:



  • University or equivalent qualification

  • Fluency in English (written and spoken), other languages a plus

  • Minimum 3 years compliance experience

  • Experience in an international financial services environment

  • Working knowledge of compliance risks

  • Drafting experience, particularly with policies, standards and training

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Strong organisation, process, project management and analytical skills
