Skyguide provides air navigation services for Switzerland and certain adjacent parts of neighbouring countries. With its 1500 employees at 14 locations in Switzerland, the company guides some 1,2 million civil and military flights a year safely and efficiently through Europe's most complex airspace. To ensure that we continue to fulfill this task in the future, we are seeking:2 Air Traffic Controllersfor our Area Control Center (lower and upper sectors) in Geneva/SwitzerlandYOUR TASK
Manage and monitor air traffic in the airspace assigned in accordance with all the relevant procedures and regulations
Ensure the provision of safe, fluid and efficient air traffic services
Communicate and coordinate with other Air Traffic Controllers, pilots, other units
Assist and advise pilots and aircraft in exceptional circumstances and emergency situations
YOUR PROFILE
Holder of a current Air Traffic Controller license, preferably an EASA recognized license (ACS rating valid with an ACC or UAC endorsement)
A minimum of 3 years operations experience as an Air Traffic Controller in a busy environment
Availability by beginning of April 2019
Level 4 English language proficiency
Written and spoken English and French is essential (important: at least B2 level in French required upon taking up the job)
Willing and motivated for successful completion of unit training courses
A valid Air Traffic Control medical certificate
