Market Manager – Pharmaceutical Segment (m/f)


 


Our Market Managers operate at a very critical intersection of various stakeholders and drive an optimal positioning of Mettler-Toledo in their respective market segment.


 


Key responsibilities



  • You will propose strategy on how to address the market, including product and service portfolio, marketing and channels. Further, you will collaborate closely with our Market Organizations (MOs) to establish country-specific go-to-market strategies and provide guidance during execution

  • You will run initiatives for the market, gain information on specific topics, lead your team's development of materials and oversee deployment to MOs (e.g. training, guides, landing pages, etc.) and/or to markets

  • With your experience, you will understand important production processes and applications within each industry segment.  You will learn about existing and potential Mettler-Toledo products and services being applied in each application

  • You will know the most important market participants (big companies, trendsetters, rising stars) and competition per industry segment and region as well as the most common business models, technical and commercial market trends (e.g. regulations, etc.)

  • Finally, you will communicate regularly with MOs to understand their needs, support them as they seek growth in your market, teach and train them on segment topics and applications, exchange market knowledge, participate in customer visits, seminars, and tradeshows/exhibitions


 


Your profile



  • Bachelor/Master degree in engineering or marketing with at least 5 years of work experience as a Product Manager, Key Account Manager or other sales related functions. Proven track record would be a big advantage

  • Proven professional experience in the Pharmaceutical market. At best you have been working in a position in production, quality or marketing at one of the large pharma providers

  • You are a networker with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with market organizations and customers. With your leadership skills you should be able to motivate people in matrix organization and get things done

  • You have a good sense for business opportunities as well as entrepreneurial attitude combined with excellent oral and written communication skills in English. More languages, particularly German or French, are a plus

  • Readiness to travel globally
