Sustainability Specialist (60% - 80%)

Key responsibilities

• You will manage the processes of gathering, validating and analyzing corporate sustainability data reported by all business units worldwide


• You will analyze and aggregate sustainability performance data and KPIs for METTLER TOLEDO's annual sustainability reporting processes and evaluate and implement content and usage updates of the online reporting tool and train users


• Support the annual submission of company data and documents to various sustainability indices (e.g. CDP, EcoVadis etc.) and help the Management with ad hoc data analysis and reports on sustainability topics


• Furthermore you will work with business units, group functions (HR, GSCM, Legal, Finance, etc.) and external service providers to improve the sustainability reporting process (simplify, streamline, mistake proof, automate, outsource, etc.)


• The support of the administration and upkeep of GreenMT intranet sites (SharePoint and Wiki) will also be a part of your job, as well as supporting the identification, collection, and publication of GreenMT best practice stories from business units

Your profile

• Bachelor/Master degree in business, economics, science or other relevant fields


• Some years of relevant work experience in the area of corporate sustainability and environmental management would be of advantage


• Experience with corporate sustainability reporting frameworks and platforms (e.g. GRI, CDP, EcoVadis) would be an additional asset but not required


• Very strong analytical skills and pleasure and proficiency in working with numbers, calculations and large data sets


• Logical thinker, able to recognize patterns and inconsistencies in data and identify possible causes


• High proficiency level in Word, Excel and Power Point. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are essential. More languages, particularly German, are a plus
