Actelion is a leader in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.

  
Job Responsibilities
 

  • Key account management.

  • Territory management.

  • Building and obtaining KOL relationship.

  • Maximizes market penetration of Actelion’s products and achieve sales objectives by:

  • Identifying and targeting Actelion’s customers.

  • Implementing product(s) promotional programs according to the company strategy.

  • Identify, classify and target customers and prospects.

  • Meet customers and ensure promotion of the company’s products, deliver key selling

  • messages, provide them with high quality service, partnership (organize Hospital staffs

  • meetings and presentations, facilitate physicians network).

  • Deliver adequate medical and scientific information to customers in order to ensure safe use

  • of the products, report adverse events according to guidelines.

  • Complete administrative requirements and comply with company’s guidelines and policies.

  • Reporting of AEs according to SOP-090565.

  • Complaints reporting according to SOP-090566.

  • Feedback the organization with market trends and competitive intelligence.

Candidate Requirements
 

  • Graduate, ideally in a science subject. Further business qualifications in marketing/sales is an asset.

  • Previous experience as sales representative in pharmaceutical industry and specifically with >3 years in hospital sales.

  • KOLs management.

  • Experience in working as part of a small multi-functional marketing/sales/medical team is ideal.

  • Key account management process proven capabilities: analyze, plan, prepare, implement, follow-up.

  • Ability to understand, interpret and clearly communicate complex scientific concepts.

  • Demonstrates organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and focus.

  • Strong communication and presentation, group facilitation skills.

  • Strong negotiation skills.

  • A basic level of IT skill encompassing Email and browser technology.

  • Self-confidence and belief in one’s abilities. Leadership.

  • Team spirit and positive / enthusiastic mindset.

  • Entrepreneurial, autonomous / ability to self-start.

  • Adaptability / flexibility.

  • Goals and achievement oriented. Strong “completer-finisher” skills to ensure ideas translate to reality.
