Actelion is a leader in the field of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Our portfolio of PAH treatments covers the spectrum of disease, from WHO Functional Class (FC) II through to FC IV, with oral, inhaled and intravenous medications.

  

Job Responsibilities

 

Projects - contributor and manager of projects:



  • Partners with all the GCSO members as well as other regional functions on Actelion wide issues.

  • Work closely with the Communications Team to ensure strong communication within GCSO as well as to external

  • Planning, implementing and following up on new processes and procedures for the GCSO

  • Provides dispassionate views on emerging Actelion business topics. Stimulates GCSO dialogue by bringing in new ideas from the external and competitive benchmarks.

  • Enhance social & digital channels use for communication

  • Tracking and monitoring implementation and progress of Actelion strategic plan through dashboard metrics and collaborate with GCSO members to recommend next steps and/or action plans as well as help them with their meetings and presentation.

  • Taking the lead of key initiatives

 

Oversight and tracking of implementation of strategic roadmap :



  • Work with all departments to ensure tracking and timely implementation of the strategic roadmap

  • Bring to the attention of the GCSO where we are off track and align with relevant departments

  • Ensure good communication flow on strategy progress

 Actelion Global Commercial Strategic Organization meetings:

  • Improve efficiency and effectiveness of the GCSO by being active facilitator before, during and after their meetings.

  • In line with the business priorities and strategic Actelion agenda, and with GCSO input, sets the GCSO agenda and annual roadmap, tracks and documents GCSO discussions, identifies and follows up on action items.

  • Coordinates the preparation of the GCSO meetings

  • Takes an active role in facilitating GCSO discussions towards clear outcomes, decisions and accountabilities.

  • Makes recommendations to improve decision-making and further streamline the GCSO governance.

 

Candidate Requirements



  • Educated to master’s degree level in a relevant discipline, MBA preferred

  • Minimum 2 years relevant pharmaceutical industry experience gained in a commercial role (sales, marketing, commercial etc.)

  • Excellent organization and project management skills with strong results orientation mindset.

  • Ability to strategically shape and connect various events and issues.

  • Ability to have a forward-looking view and strategically plan events in a logical sequence.

  • Demonstrated ability to successfully influence senior leaders – without having direct authority and without high sensitivity to hierarchy. Vocal to express personal views and challenge.

  • Strong track record of facilitation skills of diverse teams.
