The PositionWe are looking for candidates, currently in education, who can commit to working 80% for 18 months or more. In this role you will work in a small, dynamic team, getting to know the Avaloq Banking Platform, honing your support skills and working extensively with teams in other countries in English and German.  We will provide you with in-depth training on our systems and require you to be prepared for some limited travel to meet the teams that you will be working with. One of the advantages of this role, is that it is designed to introduce you to Avaloq and its products, so that upon completion of your education you will be in a great situation to apply for position as a permanent, Business Analyst.

Your Responsibilities

• Review and reproduce incidents, assisting Business Analysts from overseas with their incident analysis.


• Provide 1st and some 2nd level support for a set of inhouse built tools.


• Create and carry out reports on various support KPIs.


• Ensure that access to remote customer DBs is available, working with our customers when problems arise.

EducationCurrently in higher education studying Business Information Technology or Computer Sciences, International Management or Business Administration.

Personal Requirements

• Highly customer focused.


• A quick learner.


• Able to analyse problems logically, following them through step by step, meticulously.

Professional Requirements

• SQL knowledge and experience.


• Java, HTML and Putty knowledge would be of benefit.


• A good level of English and German.


• An affinity with IT and technology.


• A good knowledge of the Windows Office products.


• A knowledge of Atlassian products would be an advantage.


• Broad knowledge of banking would be of benefit.
