You will be responsible for locating, evaluating, contracting and maintaining the best sources for the leasing/subleasing of engines according to the commercial terms and conditions set by the Commercial department based on customer requirements and in support of the engine maintenance activities.
Your tasks
Recommends the most appropriate and efficient method for formation of strategic initiatives/agreements related to engine leasing for Engine Services
Negotiates, concludes and manages lease agreements and any changes thereafter in accordance with compliance, policies, rules and regulations to obtain maximum benefit for Engine Services
Applies negotiation skills to resolve contractual disputes with an acceptable outcome for the parties per compliance, policies, rules and regulations
Decides appropriate resolution to problems that may arise during the contracting processes by mediating disputes between Engine Services and the lessor and lessee
Develops and maintains awareness of changing business trends in the marketplace and the possible impact to Engine Services
Analyzes bid responses to determine the most responsive and responsible bidder to optimize total cost for Engine Services
Assists in the development of internal policies and tools necessary in support of engine leasing activities
Works collaboratively with Commercial in the development and formation of engine leasing activities
Assists in monitoring and tracking lessor and lessee performance through periodic financial reviews, product performance, customer satisfaction surveys, and customer outreach
Applies economic methods and lean processes for the improvement and simplification of lease activities
Support projects within department as well as the Engine Services organization
Supports the negotiation and conclusion of contract with lessees
Assess SRT risk exposure for leased in and leased out engines
Coordinates end of lease activities with Production and Commercial
Takes charge for the correct and timely issuing of lease invoices to customers
Reports and monitors engine leasing related KPIs
Supports the budgeting process of the engine leasing business
Your profile
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business or economics
Apprenticeship favored
Professional experience in technical environment
Experience in Aviation/ MRO
Professional experience in Aero Engine leasing
Supply Chain / Purchasing desired
Proficiency in English (C2) required and German (C1) desired
