Senior Product Manager

We are looking for a senior product manager to establish Managed Threat Response Services by Open Systems in the market, to detect, analyze and respond to cyberthreats that pose a risk to the digital assets of modern enterprises – all based on data and functions of our global SD-WAN and Security-as-a-Service platform. This role is based either in our Headquarters in Zurich.

As a Senior Product Manager – Threat Response Services, you will shape our new suite of market leading Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and SOC-as-a-Service products. As a leader in the product management team, you will be responsible for aligning market needs into a winning strategy and being the voice of the customer with your own product vision. You will align internal and external stakeholders and contributors to convert this strategy from concept to reality by using your business and engineering expertise in equal parts.

This role blends inbound Product Management responsibilities – working with international cross-functional teams to build and enhance products – as well as outbound responsibilities such as interacting with customers, executing go-to-market strategy and supporting the Sales division.

Your responsibilities:

• Launch business-outcome driven products with the help of internal and external teams


• Understand customer needs and translate them into new or enhanced products


• Identify market opportunities to drive product vision and strategy forward


• Perform market analysis and competitive positioning of our leading-edge portfolio


• Engage and work closely with the technical product owner and engineering teams to determine      optimal technical approach and delivery according to realistic schedules


• Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to promote Threat Response services


• Drive thought leadership in your product domain with both customers and internal stakeholders


• Own revenue growth and P&L of your product category


• Coordinate with Security Operations to align product and operational capabilities

Your qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant experience


• Excellence in written and verbal communications


• 3+ years of relevant experience in product management, engineering or design with a focus on SIEM, threat intelligence and security operations

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s or MBA degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent relevant experience


• Excellent project management skills with proven ability to coordinate multiple teams towards delivering amazing products


• Exceptional relationship management skills and experience working with international customers and teams


• Demonstrated skills and passion for building and scaling SaaS customer products


• Experience with modeling enterprise risk metrics and KPIs from security event data
