We are looking for a Specialist in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
The role is based in Bischofszell in Switzerland
THE ROLE
Reporting to the head QHSE for Switzerland, your main activities are the followings:
- Management of a safety management system, certified according to OHSAS 18001
- Hazard recognition
- Clarifying the causes of occupational accidents and other incidents
- Give advice to line managers
- Preparation of documentation (procedures, authorizations ...)
- Organization of internal and external training
- Planning and implementation of preventive measures
- Conceptual creation and execution of internal security audits
- Organization of emergency preparedness
- Creation of monthly key figures, statistics, reports and evaluations
- Cooperation with authorities and other interested parties
- Waste management
- Evaluation of various environmental indicators (air emissions, waste water, energy consumption, etc.) and reimbursement of the CO2 levy Participation in various projects related to safety and environment
THE PROFILE
- Successfully completed studies in the field of chemistry, natural sciences, occupational safety, engineering or comparable education
- Several years of professional experience in HSE
- Training as a safety specialist (preferably SUVA recognized)
- Analytical, structured and solution-oriented way of working
- Communication skills and assertiveness
- Fluent German and English
