Manager Controlling & Reporting, 100% (m/w)


 


 


As Manager Controlling & Reporting your main role is to acts as a self-reliant person in close cooperation with the CFO Area West. As a fully recognized Business Partner, you identify potentials to improve productivity and profitability and provides support (system and content) to the Products where required. You ensure an effective and efficient Planning and Reporting Process in alignment with Corporate policy, requirements and time frame.


 


Responsibilities


Planning & Reporting



  • Steer the Planning & Reporting Process, including required documentation

  • Establish effective and efficient internal planning and reporting process and guidelines and ensure adherence to it

  • Constantly identify potentials for process improvement to ensure high data quality and transparency

  • Provide regular reports to Corporate and Regional Office where required


 Job Costing



  • Ensure in close cooperation with the Product Managers accurate and timely Job Costing

  • Monitor file closing and invoicing performance (speed of invoicing) in close cooperation with the products

  • Monitor accruals in close cooperation with Operations

  • Identify shortcomings and propose proactively methods to improve


 Performance Management



  • Enforce a high performing service culture within all functional departments

  • Drive jointly with all core- and support functions the improvement of standard KPIs (e.g. Global Metrics, Dashboard) by creating transparency in results and its analysis

  • In particular analyse productivity and profitability per product and establish measurement to improve in close cooperation with Product Managers

  • Conduct regular customer analysis in view of profitability and report proactively proposals to improve

  • Identify together with process/business owner training needs and conduct trainings


 Interaction with Accounting and Operations



  • Regular analysis of revenue and SG&A development and report to Management in case of deviations to the plan

  • Ensure in close cooperation with Accounting cost assignment to correct cost center


 Strategy Controlling



  • Establish, follow-up and management of strategic project portfolio (SIP)

  • Define KPIs to measure strategy implementation

  • Organize and conduct strategy workshops

  • Conduct strategic planning process, incl. key stakeholder meetings with ERM and GIL


 Project Management



  • Operational and administrational Projects on request by Management
