The Group FP&A Team is composed of several spheres: Performance Management & Management Reporting; Corporate Functions Controlling; Global Governance & Reporting Excellence.


To strengthen our Performance Management & Management Reporting capabilities, we are looking for an experienced Senior Group FP&A Analyst with a primary focus on Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, based in our Worldwide HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. This position reports into the Manager Group FP&A. You will be part of the FP&A Team in Zurich, supported by a Reporting Team located in our Shared Services Center in Poland.


 


You will be delivering highly qualitative models and analytics enabling decision support intended to Group and Regional Senior Management of Barry Callebaut, in a highly growing, dynamic and inspirational environment. 


 


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Design and implement complex financial models, e.g. enhanced free cash flow forecast, working capital simulation

  • Lead the automation of such models in Barry Callebaut system landscape in close cooperation with the Information Management & Technology Team

  • Continuously monitor and help improve evaluation models and ROI around Capital Investments decisions

  • Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicator relating to working capital, free cash flow to highlight trends, present scenarios and propose tangible actions

  • Support in preparing monthly performance reports to the Board, Senior Management

  • Develop a broad-based business intelligence and a solid relationship with Corporate Treasury, Regional FP&A Teams, to steer all forward-looking processes (5-year Mid-Term Plan, Annual Budget, Forecasts); Oversee integration and continuous improvement of the above processes in our Planning Tool

  • Identify improvement to the FP&A function and drive implementation and adoption


 


Your profile



  • At least 7-8 years of relevant experience in Financial Planning and Analysis / Corporate Finance in an international environment

  • Very strong financial modeling skills, highest standards of accuracy and precision, highly organized

  • Solid understanding in financial valuation models

  • Strong interpersonal skills: You connect and build strong relationships with staff from various departments (Finance, Sales, Sourcing, Operations) and from different levels, including Management

  • Recognized team player

  • Entrepreneurial: You are hands-on, creative, and capable of thinking out of the box and proposing quick-wins and realistic recommendations and successfully implement them

  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills, in English and ideally in one other language

  • Excellent Excel skills (or equivalent modeling tool)

  • Good SAP FI-CO/ BW knowhow

  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g. Tagetik etc.) is an advantage
