What it's about

In this challenging role you will be leading the IT Server & Storage team, drive innovative solutions and strategy and further build out our server landscape.
 

• Leading and managing our global IT server team (group of 5 people, worldwide)


• Maintaining and further developing our leading edge virtual infrastructure (vSphere), storage systems (Pure), modular servers (Nutanix), backup systems (EMC), server environment and surrounding systems (Microsoft),


• Developing innovative solutions for your server and storage setup


• Supporting the global IT Engineering team in various IT infrastructure projects (datacenter, server, storage, client)


• Managing of operational issues/faults including analysis and escalation to management


• Involvement with the setup of new global offices


• Training and coaching our Technology support organization

What we expect

• For this position, we are looking for a person with a tertiary qualification in IT or a related field and at least 8 years of experience in a large and well-structured Technology environment


• Strong IT infrastructure background (virtualization, security and network services) is mandatory.


• Vendor certificates from Microsoft, VMWare or PURE/EMC are a benefit


• Proven work experience as a team leader or supervisor (degree in management or training in team leading is a plus)


• Organizational and time-management skills


• Good language skills in English (oral and written)
