Senior Capital Manager


As Senior Capital Manager you are responsible to successfully lead and direct our highly complex project CSL112.


CSL112 is a new product at CSL Behring: a novel apolipoprotein A-I infusion therapy developed to reduce the high incidence of early recurrent cardiovascular events. It has the potential to change the current treatment paradigm for heart attack survivors and improve global health outcomes for the millions of people at risk.


Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Operational Excellence and closely collaborating with the global CSL112 program management group, you realize the upgrade of existing facilities and equipment to support product launch.


In this exciting opportunity, you initiate, define, plan, implement and close out the assigned project. You are successful by:



  • Effectively managing, monitoring and reporting all project activities and expenditures

  • Ensuring overall project structure and management processes enable project team members to successfully perform to a best outcome of a common goal

  • Integrating component deliverables into the overall end product, service, results and benefits

  • Engaging all experts effectively, by strongly listening, understanding, communicating and driving the common sense to performance

  • Ensuring project results are delivered at the defined milestones, with adequate quality and within the approved budget, in a manner compliant with the requirements of the capital project stage gate process

  • Communicating adequately and timely within CSL Behring and to external parties

  • Drive and support continuous process and project improvement and efficiency initiatives

Go for it - the following competencies will help you to be successful in this role:



  • University degree and proven experience in managing strategic projects, project management, risk and issue management in a dynamic global and highly regulated environment

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods as well as excellent understanding of performance evaluation and change management principles, ideally experience with the stage gate methodology 

  • Highly motivated self-starter with exceptional listening-, analyzing and problem-solving skills and excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills

  • Acute and forward thinker and doer with a very high capacity of execution

  • Working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage

  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills and good German language skills
