HR Operations Administrator - Tier 1 in Bern

Job Purpose:

First point of contact for employees and managers for resolution of HR requests related to programs, processes, systems, policies, benefits, recruiting, compensation, etc. Provides resolution of inquiries at tier 1 level, triaging and escalating issues that are more complex to tier 2 level.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:



  • Ensures execution of End-to-End processes and all tasks associated with our global personal information system Employee Cloud/Workday.

  • Supports all HR Center of Expertises in execution of Core, Common and Consistent processes and overall administration. Ensures continuity and successful delivery of functional services to users throughout the organization.

  • Responsible for adhering to appropriate HR Operations KPIs. May assist EU Shared Services Supervisor and Service Center Director in developing standard work, service level agreements and key performance indicators for all areas of the department.

  • Conduct research of issues as appropriate and provide resolution in a timely manner.

  • Together with Tier 1 colleagues, services hotline with telephony and chat function on a daily basis. Creates, monitors, and closes out service request tickets in the case management tool and works closely with other HR functional areas in Europe and around the globe in order to support long-term enhancements for the business.

  • Ensures that case notes are well customer oriented written and thoroughly and accurately details the proposed resolution.

  • Enhances HR's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests by exploring opportunities to add value to HR Operations.

  • Conducts day to day HRIS transactional processing in Employee Cloud/Workday system as well as a wide range of other HR administration tools. Is ready to participate in local and global projects.


Education



  • HS Degree within Business/ HR or related field required.

  • AS degree a preferred

  • SHRM certification a plus.


Experience



  • 1-3 years of experience in HR, preferred HR Operations and/or a Shared Services Operation or closely related experience.

  • Experience in support multiple HR COE areas, such as Compensation, Benefits, Relocation, Staffing, etc.

  • Knowledge of Case Management systems, ACD/IVR, and HR Portal technology a plus

  • German and English speaking is a must.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive customer service and operational excellence.

  •  Experience working within a global HR shared services model highly desired

  • Demonstrated high level of integrity when dealing with sensitive and confidential Information
