For our location in Bern, we are looking for a

CapEx Project Engineer Fractionation and Bulk

As CapEx Project Engineer at CSL Behring in Bern, you manage or lead strategic CapEx-projects in the field of bulk manufacturing. You are a member of the CapEx Engineering Team “Fractionation / Bulk”. Currently, you have the great opportunity to lead a high volume project called “Masterplan Fractionation” besides smaller further projects.

Your responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing projects from feasibility to planning, execution and qualification/validation


• Empowering project leader for your project members by creating a level of competent and trustful partnership and providing technical and analytical guidance to enable excellent performance and results


• Responsible for CapEx projects within the timelines specified and within the agreed budget, while ensuring the required quality and any specified regulations and guidelines are excellently met


• Provide ongoing local and global project status reports for the Senior Management, global and local stakeholders


• Contributing to global strategy programs as technical subject matter expert form Bern


• Plan thoroughly and communicate strongly, to ensure cost and milestones are always in a concise and timely manner and every stakeholder is informed and like this contributes to the success of the overall projects


• Manage all project -related documentation such as qualification (“DQ, IQ, OQ, PQ”) and requirement specifications

You are passionate project leader, with experience and a successful track record on major CapEx projects. As a creative and communicate self-starter and team player, you appreciate growth and development in your environment and contribute to a positive environment, which grows through its strong and competent partnerships.

Additionally, you convince with the following competencies:

• Masters or Bachelordegree in Engineering (ideally mechanical, process engineering); ideally a further project management education


• Excellent project management competencies on CapEx projects with high complexity in the chemical, biotech- or pharmaceutical industry, additional experience Civil Engineering could be a plus


• Excellent listener with extra-ordinary problem-solving and social skills, which help him to identify business potential and needs at an early stage


• Energetic and proactive person with strong communication and negotiation skills and the ability to cope with time pressure in demanding situations


• Trustworthy stakeholder, who approaches others with respect and like this successfully builds-up strong and competitive business relationships


• Excellent written and spoken language skills in English and German
