Apply now!PrintThe Clinical Scientist (CS) is part of the pRED NORD group and is based in Basel and will focus on support of clinical Studies (Ph I and Ph II) in Neuroscience, areas of Neurodegeneration/Neuroimmunology.
The Clinical Scientist assists the Translational Medicine Leader (TML) and/or Senior Clinical Scientist in all areas of project and study planning, evaluation, and documentation. The CS provides in alignment with the TML and/or Senior CS scientific input on relevant study documents and represents the clinical team in internal and external meetings. Medical and scientific support of PTL (Project Team Leader) and TML (Translational Medical Leader) Key contact and triage for Study Management and Project Team Key contributor to medical and scientific areas of protocol and other study related documents (including literature review and investigation) Monitoring and interpreting safety and efficacy data in ongoing clinical studies Supporting the safety representatives in the serious adverse events reporting process Analyzing, communicating, and presenting scientific results to internal/external peers and stakeholders (including publications) Actively contributing to team’s knowledge and experience in disease areas Ensuring ICH-GCP compliant study implementation and conduct Managing the Clinical Team Meetings and representing TM (Translation Medicine) at the Study Management Team Meeting
Who you are?
An MD, PhD, PharmD, MS or equivalent qualification is preferred along with several years of experience supporting clinical studies in neurology.
First experience in clinical development (ICH-GCP knowledge) and/or proven skills in project management with solution oriented working style.
Ability to work in international teams with proven communication and presentation skills (internal and external stakeholder) Ability and Interest to acquire knowledge in different diseases and therapeutic areas Fluent in English.
