The Point of Care IT R&D department provides IT Products that support Roche and 3rd Party Point of Care Diagnostics instruments with connectivity and governance workflows with a common solution. Our solutions help Point of Care coordinators, clinicians, nurses, and self-testing patients with their point of care diagnostics needs.

The Product Definition Team Lead overseas and drives the product definition activities for Point of Care IT program and oversees and coordinates the Point of Care IT requirements engineering team that defines, designs and / or supports the creation of the requirements and specifications on the different levels and ensures consistency across different levels within development organization and in collaboration with Lifecycle Team (LCT) and regions, in Point of Care IT projects following Roche Solution Integration Services (SIS) standards and procedures

The advertised position offers:

• Facilitate a cross-functional product definition team to create the product requirements, define and document the software requirements of the software project


• Support actively good spirit and collaboration within the team and the entire organization


• Based on the product requirements, define and document the software requirements of the software project


• Represent requirements using alternative views, such as analysis models (diagrams), prototypes, or scenarios, where appropriate


• Cooperate with project requirement management and all stakeholders within the software project


• Define quality attributes, external interfaces, constraints, and other nonfunctional requirements

To be successful in this role (you have to):

• Fluent in English written and spoken (advanced level or similar)


• Analytical and methodical working style person


• Good team player and leadership skills


• Takes responsibility for a team or technical concept


• Open minded and communicative


• Can work independently, focused and highly motivated


• 6-10 years of experience (6+ on projects)
