Product & Supply Chain Management organization (PTS) connects different parts of Roche to ensure reliable supply of our innovative medicines to customers and patients. The group ensures reliable supply to patients worldwide, connecting their needs to the Roche Pharma Global Supply Network. This network consists of Roche manufacturing sites, contract manufacturers and external suppliers. Lastly, PTS develops and implements product strategies as well as designs and optimizes full supply chains starting with raw materials until final product throughout the entire product life-cycle.


Are you passionate about Supply Chain? In this role, you will be the key interface between Product & Supply Chain Management and the markets to align the sales plan and strategy with the production capabilities and supply plans. You will collaborate with markets to drive independent demand integrity for finished goods to ensure clear requirements for supply planning.


Your key responsibilities will include:



  • Assess, validate, and consolidate 36 months of independent product demand plan and create finished goods replenishment plan at distribution center level

  • Drive, monitor and ensure OTIF, backlog, stock-out, forecast accuracy and bias, inventory targets are achieved

  • Run Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with the affiliates to discuss and resolve supply and demand issues while acting as a Single Point of Contact for affiliates

  • Collaborate with forecasters at the affiliates to improve forecast accuracy & bias

  • Reduce business exposures around product life cycle management including product launches, streamlining and divestments

  • Develop and maintain advanced supply chain analytical models and execute simulations to determine all possible opportunities and risks to come up with the best business outcome

  • Apply statistical analysis techniques to build high quality predictions


We are looking for the following education and technical skills:



  • Bachelor's Degree in supply chain management, engineering, computer science or any other technical field is required; Master's Degree preferred

  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in supply chain management or related; APICS Certification preferred; experience and deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry is preferred

  • Experience with ERP and supply chain systems, specific experience with SAP R/3, BW and APO is preferred; experience with R, Python, Matlab to perform statistical analysis is preferred; proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Six Sigma Black belt certification and/or working experience with Lean methodology is a plus

  • Ability to quickly distill large sets of data to draw insights, develop recommendations, and communicate in a clear, concise and well-organized manner to senior management while providing data insights & recommendations to facilitate effective decision-making.

  • Ability to build deep collaborative partnerships with stakeholders from commercial and finance organizations as well as supply chain management

  • Able to foster cross-functional partnership and influence agreement without authority; able to organize and handle multiple priorities


You have a strong track record of driving and delivering high quality results individually and/or working as part of a large, cross-functional team in order to improve efficiency. You are self-driven and highly motivated to find opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives.


You are flexible to work with others in global time zones and willing to travel internationally. You are fluent in oral & written English; German or other language skills are an asset.
