For our Global Customer Support department, we are looking for a Support & Training Specialist to support our Molecular Diagnostics Systems. 


In this versatile position you act as the supporter and trainer at the pivotal point between our global affiliates and our internal departments with the following key tasks and duties:



  • Creates, reviews and maintains training content and training documentation

  • Trainings are executed and supported for end customers, first level support, regional trainers and global staff

  • Contribute to the knowledge transfer from R&D or manufacturer to the team as well as to service and support representatives

  • Offers 2nd level support hotline for affiliates and regions in order to minimize system down time

  • Provides on-site support for local and regional support activities to ensure success in first installations, repairs and modifications

  • Writes service documentation (iSDoc, Installation Manual) and service relevant information

  • Operator Manuals are reviewed for content


Qualifications

  • Academic (Fachhochschule or University) degree in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering

  • Experience with robotic devices, Roche Molecular Diagnostic devices preferred

  • 2-3 years field experience / laboratory experience  

  • Trainer experience, didactic competencies

  • Service oriented and customer focused

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Solid experience in a service/support function dealing with technically demanding systems and products

  • Strong analytical skills and be able to be customer-oriented and work in an international environment

  • Fluent in English, German is a plus 

  • Willingness to travel (30%)
