Global Customer Support (GCS) is the global organization responsible for technical services in Roche Diagnostics Division. Approximately 500 GCS co-workers are building a worldwide network of support and training centers, which provide assistance to local and regional service staff (5'000 employees) in the Roche Diagnostics affiliates and its external distributors.


As a Support & Training Senior Specialist in GCS Support & Training cobas 4000 & cobas 6000 Systems you will ensure ongoing product support for analytical system platforms ( Clinical Chemistry and Immunochemistry analyzers). You will be responsible for training (conceptualization to implementation) and technical 2nd level support for different target groups such as service engineers:



  • Your expertise lies in training and 2nd level support for analytical systems

  • You will provide support for the analysis of hardware related problems, contributing to the appropriate solution

  • You warrant that product support meets the requirements of the distribution organizations. This involves being the contact for complex mechanical and electronic issues regarding workflow in the lab, and if necessary, you provide onsite support to global customer labs

  • In close cooperation with regional training centers, you will perform the target group-specific training courses you have created, including their operator and training documentation

  • In addition, you will be involved in projects with internal and external manufacturers for new and further development of analytical systems

    Who you are:

    For handling the responsibilities described above, you have the following prerequisites and skills:


  • A qualified degree in technology (preferably in electronic/automation or medical engineering)

  • You have several years of professional experience in supporting and servicing cobas analyzers (COBAS INTEGRA 400 plus and c111 concluded service training is highly appreciated)

  • You enjoy developing and implementing training sessions for service engineers, which are predominantly held in English. You already have the methodology and teaching skills for this job

  • You enjoy working for and with clients and are extremely service-oriented

  • You enjoy working in global matrix structures, write and speak English fluently, and count communication and teamwork skills as well as intercultural skills among your strengths

  • You are open to frequent and extended travel (approximately 30%).
