Governance & Services (G&S), part of System Integration & Solution (SIS), is the organization responsible for driving standardisation and central services in the Diagnostics Division. In the User Experience Team we are responsible for designing many aspects of the user experience of products and solutions. Embedded in program and project teams, we provide all services needed for successful development projects like user research, interaction design, service coordination with external agencies and usability evaluations. We design products which can be integrated into overarching solutions and we have to ensure regulatory compliance of the design process and the deliverables. To share experience, improve efficiency and promote standardization, we provide trainings, best practices and standards. The project portfolio of the DIA UX department consists of product developments (hardware, desktop and mobile software), strategic support, e-services and innovation projects.


The Position


We now have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Project Manager to join the User Experience Team as: Senior Project Manager-UX Strategy & Services. Reporting into the Head of Dia User Experience Strategy and Services you’ll be responsible for driving institutionalization of user experience in Roche Diagnostics and the creation of a project framework to ensure seamless project delivery.


 With a focus on the UX centre of excellence you’ll drive re-engineering of existing processes to best practice, focusing on optimising the relationship between processes and component of the business solution, this is to add business value and drive users’ satisfaction and added value. Specific areas of focus will include: organisational diagnosis, design and change communication, change related training and transformation implementation to ensure effective, efficient and sustainable rollout.


You’ll have the opportunity to join the team in an exciting moment of User Experience transformation, where Diagnostics is driving multiple digital activities with the overarching need to be coordinated in the user experience field. You’ll have the opportunity to interact with an array of stakeholders within Roche Dia and Pharma.  You will be familiar with the stakeholder landscape and be able to influence decisions for the adoption of future concepts.

To be successful in this role (you have to):



  • Educated to degree level or equivalent in  business  / IT / scientific sector

  • Experienced  in consultancy, strategy design and change are a strong advantage

  • Outstanding communication skills are essential with the ability to communicate credibly at all levels; influence key stakeholders in a highly complex cross-functional environment and build collaborative relationships to ensure seamless project delivery.

  • Several years of project management experience, focusing on implementation projects, typically in the area of ​​healthcare IT, business innovation or laboratory information systems

  • Project management certification (e.g. IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2)

  • Strong organizational, methodological skills, You will be an analytical and influential individual with experience in presenting and negotiating effectively whilst building strong partnerships.

  • Ability to capture complex problems, analyze them and translate them into solutions

  • Fluency in English is mandatory

  • Autonomous, structured and goal-oriented working methods and a good team player
