As the MD Workstream lead you will be managing a team of master data guides in a matrix organization & across the different functions of Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Commercial Operations. You will be responsible together with the IT Master Data Lead for being responsible for the successful design and delivery of Master Data Management solutions.

In this role, you will represent and ensure master data governance within the project by defining strategies, as well as delivering solutions that enable the collection, processing, and management of information from one or more sources to support key business processes, in close collaboration with the respective Business Process Owners (BPO) and functions.

You will support the BPO in analyzing business operations and assist in the design/redesign and documentation of business processes and clear definition of the business requirements regarding master data.

• Partner with Business, IT, and external Vendors to identify data quality/governance opportunities


• Execute a sustainable data strategy within the project that will enable a proven data structure and framework while having high data-quality as one of the foremost priorities, through effective interaction with internal Business teams and IT


• Guide the development and implementation of data quality standards and requirements across the enterprise.


• Promote the value of a master data management focused culture/mindset and monitor & communicate conformance with master data policies within the program


• Partner with organizations outside of S/4 scope to understand, connect & integrate Master Data entities with leading systems outside of S/4

Who you are:

We are looking for someone who provides analysis and reporting to business partners that highlight potential issues, identify root causes and improve data integrity and decision-making.

You have experience in leading master data strategy or MD quality improvement projects collaborating with multi-functional teams comprised of a project team, BPOs, and IT organizations.

In addition, you have demonstrable skills and knowledge in the operational business and have an in-depth understanding of processes.

You are able to persuade your customers and business partners during presentations and project meetings in both German and English and communicate in a manner appropriate to your target audience in the process

Strong people skills are required as the role is highly consultative, interacting with staff at all levels across an organization

You demonstrated to influence and develop reciprocal relationships with the ability to engage resources outside of direct-control to gain consensus, meet deadlines and achieve goals and objectives

You possess the following skills and experiences :

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in the respective functional area, Business Administration, or related field


• 10+ years related business experience and at least four years of professional experience in a similar or consulting function with a focus on in Master Data Management


• experience within Master Data Management, ideally with a focus on the supply chain, finance, sales, procurement or manufacturing.


• highly developed expertise with regard to project management as well as training and mentoring both individuals and teams. You are a proficient user of the MS Office applications and of SAP, especially S4/HANA.

Excellent written and verbal skills in English are required.
