Solution Owner Software Build Solutions

As the Solution Owner Software Build Solutions you will work in the Engineering and Development Solutions Support team in Diagnostics IT SMS. You will be end-to-end accountable for supporting and maintaining the Software Build Solutions in close collaboration with the Business stakeholders.

Your main duties will be:

• Maintaining and supporting solutions procedures and business processes that meet business, customer and technological requirements in the software build (CI/CD) area




• Managing enhancements and changes to solutions following industry and Roche best practice procedures and enable the business to maximize the use of the existing solution capabilities




• Accountable to define the Release Strategy for the specific solution(s) taking into consideration business as well as technical needs incl. dependencies to related solutions




• Accountable that the solution is maintained and supported according to valid procedures incl. CSV guidelines in case of GxP relevant solutions




• Monitoring and continuous improvement of defined support process though KPIs and SLAs incl. communication to relevant stakeholders




• Ensure that operational aspects are included in solution design




• Evaluating alternative informatics technologies where required and researching industry best practices and emerging trends

For this position, you bring the following qualification:

• Around 10 years of professional IT experience in a major, global organization




• Experience in software development and development toolchains as a plus




• Experience in agile methodologies




• Strong communication & Project Management skills




• Experience in working in a regulated environment and with Computer System Validation




• Significant and proven experience in:



• Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelinles / CloudBees, ElectricCommander


• Operating systems (Windows and Linux «Debian, Ubuntu» (admin level))


• Container (Kubernetes / Docker), SW Development (PowerShell, Java «Groovy», Bash Scripting, Python)


• Automation Tool (Ansible, Puppet or similar)
