ALTEN Switzerland is growing rapidly within our TECHNO division and we are looking for experienced and dedicated Telecommunications Engineers with experience in Railway for interesting challenges based in Winterthur / Zurich / Sankt Gallen. For our consultants it means that you will have opportunities to grow with us and also to influence in what directions we are expanding. Your development is our most important focus.


Responsibilities



  • Development of new telecommunications and information Systems for Railway applications.

  • System integration in the vehicle.

  • Preparation of engineering / production documents, e.g. electrical schematics and system drawings.

  • Support of production, commissioning and type tests.

  • Responsible for the control of the specification compliant implementation by the system supplier regarding hardware, software and ordered services.

  • Support and participation in software tests of suppliers as well as ensuring delivery in conformity with contract and schedule.

  • Technical supplementation of the department in the fields of software architecture, communication technology, development of industrial electronics or testing.

  • Further development of project-independent and market-driven solution modules in cooperation with electrical engineering, design and product management.

  • Interdisciplinary coordination with other areas such as electrical and software engineering, installation planning, procurement, fire protection or certification.


Skills



  • BSc. – MSc. In Telecommunications / Electrical / Software Engineering.

  • Railway and telecommunication experience.

  • Project Management certification a plus (PMI, PMP, IPMA, Prince2).

  • Fluent in German.

  • English / French an advantage.
