What you achieve

As part of a team of passionate professionals, you play a key role in the development of our AI-based dialog platform for Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), one of the flagship products within the Data, Analytics and AI division at Swisscom. The platform provides Swisscom with innovative AI-based methods to communicate with customers in the future.



Relying on your experience with machine learning and NLP, you are involved in every step of building and advancing robust tools and models for speech recognition and NLP of Swiss German and other Swiss languages. Monitoring and validating the quality of the appropriate data are part of your routine, as is exploiting these data to develop and evaluate speech recognition and NLP models and systems.

Why you succeed

• Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics or similar technical field of study


• Expertise in at least one major programming language (e.g. Java, Python)


• Experience in the Natural Language Processing field


• Knowledge of written variations of Swiss German dialects


• Familiarity with ASR a plus


• Comfortable working in agile teams with test-driven development and continuous integration


• Swiss-German mother tongue and very good English, French a plus
