We help CFOs, audit committees, treasurers, and other top financial executives understand the pending changes and assess the impact on their companies. Due to the significant growth in our FAAS practice in Zurich, Switzerland, we are looking for a Manager for our Accounting Excellence team to help support, develop and execute specific solutions relating to GAAP conversions, support and improvement of financial closing processes and managing the implementation of accounting changes, ranging from a single accounting standard to the full project planning and global implementation of IFRS. Candidates should have one or more of the following competencies:
Assess, transform and reorganize the finance and control functions
Integrate data analytics into the financial organization
Improve the financial statement close process
Have a consistent and efficient accounting manual in place
Align accounting processes following new acquisitions
Evaluate and redesign internal controls
Promote strong governance and control in the organization

Collaborate with the partner to determine a FAAS strategy for individual accounts that satisfies high client expectations
Be responsible for managing and delivering FAAS engagements
Ensure that the FAAS engagement team understands the client's needs and expectations and the work product is client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented
Ensure work is delivered in a timely manner and in compliance with regulatory requirements
Work with other service lines (e.g. Tax, Audit, Advisory) and subject matter experts in providing an integrated service delivery across functions in an international team to meet the clients’ high expectations
Engage and develop in generating new opportunities related to new FAAS projects and relationships Your profile to succeed together
Experience and interest in accounting practice across various sectors, incl. ability to identify and communicate relevant trends, developments and key performance drivers relevant to the client and different stakeholders
Bachelor or Master degree (preferred in Accounting/Finance), complemented with a completed further relevant professional education (e.g. Swiss CPA, US CPA, ACCA or CFA)
5 to 8 years of relevant experience in audit or consulting
Proactive, flexible and team-oriented from concept and design through to implementation of projects. Intellectual curiosity and willingness to go “the extra mile”
Ability to build your relevant internal and external networks in a fast-paced and international environment investing in sustainable relationships
English is a prerequisite, German and French are a plus
