Define and maintain up-to-date information on Global Standards, Policies and Training documents in the area of customs and trade according to the legal regulation; ensure to implement and con-duct periodic training to the CTC community in the region
• Develop, set up, and manage global trade compliance programs, monitor using internal controls (CTC controls in NFCM Framework), perform the re-audit on high risk countries. Ensure the cor-rective actions and recommendations are monitored and closed; the status report of the project is up-to-date; and the closure of the implementation is performed
• Establish global guidelines on processes around classification (import & export), Country of Origin; Duty savings opportunities, licensing, technical data, recordkeeping, 3rd party compli-ance management (customs brokers, agents etc.) and auditing/ reporting to ensure implemen-tation and effectiveness of internal controls
• Develop, collect, analyze and find the gap on the Key Performance Indicators of the region for improvement and avoid compliant issues
• Understand the issues, provide executive summary to the NTO management and communicate closely with outside attorneys to clarify the company' s position regarding specific issues, develop defense strategies and assess alternatives
• Respond to attorney requests for documents or information with relation to prepare responses to government inquiries, subpoenas and/or other forms of government investigations; review and provide assistance in revising interim and final versions of the response to ensure thoroughness and accuracy
• Collaborate with other cross-functional team (Order Management, Legal, Funds-flow, Tax, Supply Chain Setup, regional SCM, cross division) to achieve business objectives in efficient and effective way (Outside NTO, NTO, OM)
• Lead Project medium/complex project
• Collaborate, manage and support global projects with the expertise in Customs and Trade Compli-ance area
• Drive the direction design and content of the import/export control systems for single solution to support the operation within local country as CPO/Affiliate, Principal or Production Site
• Initiate the value creation by triggering the potential duty savings in the region; co-ordinate the implementation; monitor the progress and report the savings as Global KPI
• Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility
• Ensure the Center of Excellence operation is according to the management expectations, bring the efficiency across the network and provide the correct and reliable master data within customs and trade
• Generate the actual savings according to the Savings Plan

Education:Higher education (Master degree) in International Trade, Business Admin-istration or Law
Languages: English and German – fluent written and spoken, 3rd language is a plus
Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience in role with global responsibility in multi-national industry or minimum 10 years’ experience in operational customs and trade role with local or regional responsibility in EU, North America, Asia etc. Preferably in Health Care, Consumer Goods, Chemical or other process industry
