JOB OVERVIEW:
The Biosimilars Project Management & Launch Operations Lead will be a member of the Biosimilars Alliance and CE&O Team, reporting to the Head, Biosimilars Alliance and CE&O. This role will be responsible for establishing governance and defining standards for project management for the Biogen Biosimilars Unit (BBU). The candidate will manage and drive prioritization across the portfolio of key above-market/across-market and cross-functional initiatives for the BBU, ensuring clear ownership, timelines, deliverables, and internal/external resourcing to drive project execution. The Lead will also be responsible for tracking, dashboarding of the project pipeline to provide visibility and to support resourcing or start/stop decisions. Specifically for launches, the PM and Launch Operations Lead will serve as the main Commercial point of contact for cross-functional launch teams for future product launches or product enhancements to ensure launch readiness across all launch markets. The Lead will be a key partner in process improvement and standards development initiatives. The position requires strong collaboration, communication, leadership, and change management skills as well as experience driving business change projects.

MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Provide project management support for key above-market/across-marker or cross-functional initiatives for the BBU. Manage portfolio of active and pending projects/initiative and drive prioritization. Holds direct and/or indirect accountability for management of the budget for one or several projects.

2. Main Commercial point of contact for future product launches or product enhancements. Collaborates with all relevant functions (Planning, Supply Chain, Artwork, Regulatory, Legal, Access, Finance) to coordinate and deliver all aspects of pre-launch operations for the BBU across all launch markets. Develop pan European launch scenarios and launch sequences.

3. Establish governance model and standards for BBU project management, including PM toolkit, start/stop decision framework. Develop project tracking and dashboarding practice for BBU portfolio of projects.

4. Manage external vendors/providers of PM capacity

5. Partner in process improvement and standards development initiatives


Qualifications


• Demonstrated success and expertise in project management methods and tools
• Ability to drive an implement complex initiatives
• Possess good communication and presentation skills
• Ability to make agile decisions and also establish rules towards proper business and project management
• Ability to lead, manage, and influence others to deliver projects on-time and within budget to achieve specified goals and objectives.
• Ability to drive others to decisions and indirectly manage and lead project and process teams
• PMP Certification and/or Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
• 5+ years’ experience Project Management or relevant experience
• 7 to 10 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry


Education


• Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Management related field; Master’s degree/MBA preferred.
• Project Management certification an asset.
