Key responsibilities
Provide up-to-date expertise in mucosal immunology
Manage projects (plan, execute, coordinate, communicate) and deliver in research activities
Set-up preclinical models and approaches; support the design of clinical studies
Coach and develop research assistants, technicians and peers
Participate to the development of research strategies in the immunology field
Communicate effectively with key business stakeholders to identify business needs and assist businesses in translation of scientific findings into applications and product development
Strengthen internal and external network in the area of expertise and promote cross-fertilization among the different Nestlé businesses

Education and experience
PhD in relevant scientific field with deep expertise in mucosal immunology
At least 5 years post PhD experience in R&D, ideally in industry setting or in collaboration with industry partners
Experience in designing and running preclinical research and/or clinical trials
Capacity to connect mucosal immunology with other competences like microbiota or gut physiology (transversal work)
Experience in managing / driving complex projects and building & managing relationships with key internal & external stakeholders at senior level.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
