Within the Diagnostic division engineering and facilities community the Global Expert Real Estate Program Management is responsible for the scope area Fit-out in addition to Real Estate projects Program Management. In this scope area, he/she is responsible for supporting the development of and implementing strategy, organization, coordination, process and governance of Roche Diagnostics Real Estate and fit-out projects worldwide.

Real Estate team encompasses the leasing and ownership of the buildings, land and other spaces in which we work. These lease and owned assets are an important platform from which we deliver our services and products. Their suitability, location and adaptability are essential in achieving our business objectives.

Your main responsibilities would be:

• Program manage divisional real estate projects, including but not limited to lease acquisition/renewal/disposal, site/building acquisition/disposal including fit-out and relocations projects through to completion


• Data collection, validation and analysis of fit-out data into benchmarking and performance improvement initiatives


• Manage implementation phase of real estate projects


• Develop, review and optimize real estate end-to-end processes.


• Develop and optimize PMO concept to drive down risks, increase transparency, facilitate stakeholder management and improve budget forecasting v actuals


• Develop document templates and tools for real estate and fit-out projects including contractual models, project controls, technical due diligence, fit-out specifications, PMO reporting etc.


• Support and maintain implementation of PMO tool (QuickBase or alternative) and project management tools


• Support and develop collaboration through active participation in the Global Facility Council and Regional Facility Councils.


• Develop global MSAs with Technical PM, Design & Build contractors, establish performance KPIs, set targets for external providers, monitor and maintain

To be successful in this role, we believe you need 10-15 years in major international FM and Real Estate organisations ideally on owner, consultant and contractor side and proven experience in leading a program c.40-60 real estate projects per year globally with a total project value of CHF >150 mio per annum.

What other qualifications do you need in your toolbox?

• University level education (BSc or equivalent or higher) in a technical field (civil engineering /real estate project management or similar)


• Accredited in international sustainability standards: e.g. LEED AP, BREEAM, DGNB


• Member of internationally recognized relevant professional institutions (RICS, PMI etc)


• International experience across several companies and cultures and experience in developing new concepts, approaches, benchmarks, strategies
