The Lifecycle Leader (LCL) leads and aligns the Systems Lifecycle Team (LCT) to generate and implement the RMD Systems Strategy, achieving the appropriate balance between maximizing sales potential, minimizing time-to-market, delivering high-quality results and maximum financial return.
The LCL is accountable for the LCT performance, both overall and its individual members. In addition, the LCL is responsible for mobilizing Roche’s global resources and external resources to support the product.
More specifically, the LCL is responsible for the following:
Establishing, leading and maintaining a highly effective multifunctional Global Lifecycle Team responsible for the development of RMD Systems including: Hardware, Software, Consumables, Reagent Concepts, Workflow and Information Technology
LCT product development plan, including budget and resources and ensuring all aspects of design control are met
Development and implementation of the LCT long-term strategic plan and all subsets of, such as the Product Development, pre-clinical / clinical, development, regulatory, technical plans
Through the Business team, the LCL is responsible for the development and execution of the annual marketing plan for all marketing activities, health economics and pricing, the Strategic Launch Concept Plan and the Launch Plan
The LCL is responsible for managing a team that spans multiple global sites, in addition to managing the relationships and strategies with internal global functions and external third-party partners
Managed and develops direct reports in their line management responsibility; develops and provides feedback to cross-functional members of their Lifecycle Team to develop high-performance group
In order tofulfilthe requirements of the role, you should bringfollowingexperience / skillset:
Minimum of BS/BA in Business or Life Sciences and an Advanced Degree or MBA is Preferred
10+years progressive related business experience in a leadership position
Lead a matrix group of 15+ employees, making authoritative business decisions, executing decisions, and accounting for the results
Proven experience as a successful decisive leader in a strategic multifunctional environment
Proven track record in affiliate and/or global marketing leadership roles
Knowledge and/or experience with complex diagnostics instruments and software preferred
