Your tasks and responsibilities

• Support the ongoing projects


• Plan, set-up and perform laboratory experiments/measurements


• Evaluate and present the results


• You take over the development and implementation of automated characterization/measurement set-ups for optical sensors. These developments will be used by you and your colleagues here in Rüschlikon for the development of new concepts of optical sensors, or by your colleagues in Singapore, for the test and characterization of the same in small pre-production test runs. Your task is also to define the architecture of the software codes such that they are flexible and easy to test and maintain (unit testing).

Your education and experiences

• A technical degree or a Bachelor degree, for example Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Informatics, Physics Lab Assistant or similar.


• In depth knowledge in programming instrumentation devices


• Knowledge of object oriented program


• Interest in optics


• Careful and independent planning


• English knowledge
