The BIS seeks a Payroll Manager to join its Human Resources unit. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing the Bank’s global payroll services and ensuring the accurate and timely execution of all salary and pension payments. We would like to meet candidates with a bachelor’s degree in HR, finance or IT, as well as at least eight years of relevant work experience. You have a strong track record in providing hands-on customer service, and in advising staff of all levels on sensitive employment issues. You feel at home in a multicultural work environment. You demonstrate an excellent command of written and spoken English; fluency in German would be an advantage. The BIS’s head office is located in Basel, Switzerland, with representative offices in Hong Kong SAR and Mexico City. We are able to recruit globally, regardless of nationality, and offer competitive employment packages. All new staff members are recruited on a fixed-term basis without expectation either of any contract renewal or conversion. The contract may however be extended or converted to an open-ended one at the end of the term, subject to organisational needs and individual performance.
