The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production involving department or cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a product or system to external customers. They will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Monitoring the production from initiation through delivery, organizing activities and ensuring completion of the production on schedule and within budget constraints; assigning and monitoring work of program staff; providing logistical support and direction to a cross functional team including representatives from New Product Introduction (NPI), Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Production Planning, Test Engineering, and Purchasing; issuing or assigning engineering changes for parts and products to remedy or facilitate engineering designs; administrating or expediting supply-chain initiatives to meet sales order requirements. The qualified candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline and 5 to 8 years of experience in project engineering at a technical as well as administrative level.
Electronics manufacturing experience
Excellent organization and communications skills are desired.
Internally driven to excel, and able to multitask and adjust as priorities shift.
PC literacy with competency in project management, product collaboration, and ERP software tools (Oracle) is strongly desired.
Up to 10% travel required.
