This Centre is based in Switzerland. To complete our Quality department team based in Orbe, we are currently looking for a Food Contact Material Quality Specialist . Your main responsibilities will be to support Capsules & Beverage Dispenser Machines Project Managers by providing expertise and knowledge on Food Contact Material and ensure food compliance of the products in development. Key responsibilities
Support Packaging and Machine projects in order to ensure food contact compliance
Set up experimental protocol in order to fulfil internal & legal requirements
Support internal and external suppliers in case of issues by Root cause analysis and actions plan deployment
Promote Food Contact Material awareness across the NSTC, the organisation, Manufacturers & suppliers
Provide Technical assistance on demand in the field of expertise to Nestlé factories, Manufacturers, suppliers, internal & external network, Businesses.
Packaging safety network core team member
Contribute to Early warning & Issues management processes
Required profile
MSc/PhD - graduate or equivalent (preferred material science or chemist)
Min 10 years of experience in the Food or Packaging industries, R&D, factory or laboratory
Competence : expertise on Food Contact Material (FCM)
Competence in Product and Process Mastership including knowledge of materials and suppliers
Understanding of relevant technology platforms and Regulatory Affairs (Mercosur, FDA, EU, GB), Quality and Compliance
Knowledge of FSCC 22000, PAS 223, BRC, ISO 9001:2015, GHP, GMP, GLP would be an asset
Good interpersonal/teamwork skills and a good sense of business/technical interrelationships
Strong written and oral communication skills (including presentations)
Focus on customers and consumers
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
French is a strong asset
