Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.


Working within Large Customer Sales team means you work within a compassionate, supportive and client-consulting environment. You will partner and consult new and existing businesses, help them understand and grow the opportunities for building their brands online and strengthening their overall business results. You'll need to be sensitive to the clients needs, understand their target groups to develop solutions embracing Google products that enable the client to successfully drive their overall brand’s performance by the adequate set of digital platforms and media.


As an Industry Manager, you will partner with clients and their agencies to understand and develop digital branding strategies, identify their business challenges and collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives demonstrating how Google products can enhance their online brands. You’ll support and consult using the whole Google product portfolio.


Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build strong businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.


Responsibilities


  • Partner and consult with leading clients from the Retail industry, media and creative agencies to develop long-term customer relationships.

  • Work with Google Product teams to develop and deliver innovative advertising solutions while keeping in mind impact on client performance.

  • Work cross functionally within Google and consult on projects to drive client success. Work closely with members of the Large Customer Sales team to ensure successful implementation of search and display campaigns. You’ll support and consult using search-based advertising products and display advertising using YouTube, Google Display Network and Mobile.

  • Develop case studies of successful campaigns in order to share insights with customers and to serve as an advocate at targeted events and conferences. Champion new product releases, internally and externally.

  • Analyze data trends and client performance, develop strategic client account plans, and prepare and conduct strategic sales presentations incorporating one or multi Google products.


Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • Ability to speak and write English and German fluently and idiomatically.


Preferred qualifications:



  • Experience in strategically growing and maintaining complex, high-value managed accounts through a consultative approach.

  • Experience in creating material for meetings with senior external and internal stakeholders.

  • Background in digital media and business development and knowledge of Google products including search, video and display.

  • Knowledge of the retail market.

  • Effective project management, interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to drive and implement ideas in a changing environment.

  • Excellent networking, communication and presentation skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and solve problems.
