The EPFL Laboratory of Virology and Genetics (headed by prof. Didier Trono) is looking for a bioinformatician. The candidate must be highly motivated, like programming and be Unix-proficient.
S/he will support researchers in analyzing and interpreting Next Generation Sequencing data (mainly RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, methylation analysis and variant analysis) as well as in planning their bench experiments.
Junior candidate is eligible since s/he will work together with several senior bioinformaticians who will assist her/him during the learning process. Your profile :
Title: Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Statistics or Life Sciences.

Unix and shell scripting
Good programming ability. Fluent in R/Bioconductor and/or python
Good knowledge of statistics and data modeling
