The cobas Liat Systems Complaint Investigation and Resolution (CIR) team performs global case handling on customer inquiries and complaints within Roche Molecular Solutions for a set of medical devices in commercial and hospital labs.

In this position you will be working alongside global case handling experts and, under their guidance, you will assist them with the evaluation, investigation and resolution of customer complaints and inquiries for hardware or software issues.

Your main tasks would include:

• Under guidance, perform case handling on customer inquiry and complaint cases for one of our systems (cobas Liat).


• Routine communication in the case handling IT system with local Roche case handlers worldwide for information request, case status updates and final conclusion.


• Verification of issue root cause by executing routine investigations.


• Representation and communication on status of individual cases in CIR team or interfacing meetings.


• Maintain own formal training up to date (highly regulated industry requirement).

You have a genuine enthusiasm and commitment to problem solving and can communicate your ideas easily to varied audiences. In order to be successful in this position you have a detailed-oriented working style and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks if needed.

To be successful in this role you have to fulfill the following criteria:

• You are currently enrolled or have recently graduated with a degree in the field of Engineering, IT or Business


• You have good general IT knowledge


• You think critically, have good reasoning abilities and a problem solving mindset


• You are communicative, flexible and patient


• Excellent spoken and written English, knowledge of German advantageous

Start date: 1.12.18 or 1.1.19

Duration: 9 months (extension possible)
