This is an exciting opportunity to shape the direction of one of Expedia Group’s leading organisations, Expedia Lodging Partner Services (LPS), by combining best practices and innovative thinking to accelerate Expedia Group to further growth and stronger business results.


LPS is the group within Expedia responsible for partnering with the overall lodging industry, and continuously optimizes and sources lodging  supply (hotels, B&Bs, pensiones, riyadhs, vacation rentals) that reaches travelers in more than 70 countries through all of the Expedia Group brands on Expedia Group’s global travel platform.


As a leader on the global LPS Finance team, you will partner across the business leadership team (specifically focused on Strategic Accounts, Marketing & Innovation and New Inventory) to analyse the impact of all actions, risks & opportunities, and recommend strategic investment decisions. You will be taking leading key negotiations with our largest suppliers and developing our new products across multiple geographies. You’ll also be recognized as a finance leader in the Expedia Group Finance community, that share best practices & talent, and collaborate on Expedia-wide finance initiatives.


What you’ll do:



  • You will own the global financial planning & analytics responsibility for 3 crucial LPS divisions: Strategic Accounts, Marketing & Innovation, and New Inventory. You will rigorously deliver weekly performance analyses, quarterly forecasting, presentation and reporting.

  • You will lead and develop the planning, reporting, and analytical tools necessary to maximise business effectiveness and efficiency for the LPS organisation.

  • You will also provide commercial decision support and ownership for forward-looking business and operational planning. This included continuous business and supplier information analysis, supplier-based reporting, business metrics analysis and forecasting, contract negotiations, deal and product modelling and business performance measurement.

  • You will craft global strategies in partnership with senior leadership and business partners that align with organisational and company objectives by providing business leaders with data and ideas to optimise revenue, supplier relationships and new products.

  • You will lead elements of the overall Annual Plan and strategic planning cycles and make insightful recommendations that drive continued EBITDA growth.

  • You will support client’s needs for ad-hoc reporting and presentations, and lead financial reviews, while balancing requests with pragmatic resource capabilities and ensuring value-add.

  • You will work with business partners to develop accurate business forecasting and planning models.

  • You will promote a culture of innovation, ensuring that lessons learned are captured and leveraged in subsequent efforts.

  • You have experience in supporting international B2B commercial negotiations and direct commercial finance experience with exposure to P&L and balance sheet management.

  • You are innately curious and have a desire to continuously learn more.

  • Big picture focused whilst skilled at zeroing in on the detail and delivering continuous improvement.

  • Skilled thought leader confident and successful at influencing c-suite leadership teams for positive, sustainable, long term financial growth.
