What it's about

• Proactively source investment opportunities from your network, investment partners and other industry contacts


• Manage quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private equity investments


• Coordinate external due diligence service providers


• Support workstreams related to structuring and raise debt financing


• Support negotiations of transaction documentation with support from internal and external legal advisors


• Engage with the board of portfolio companies as needed; and


• Conduct various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing with current and potential investors


• Supporting portfolio companies throughout the investment period (planning and monitoring of value creation initiatives)

      For this challenging position, we are looking for a person who works well in a very entrepreneurial organization, and possesses strong networking and organization skills. The successful candidate should have the following profile:

• Top academic credentials (Master/MBA), coursework emphasis on Business Strategy, Finance, Accounting, Engineering and Mathematics will be prioritized


• 4-7 years of work experience in investment discipline,  private equity with a leading investor or 7-8 years of experience in  equity research or investment-banking ideally with a sector team or with leverage finance experience


• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills and a strong desire to learn and succeed


• Thorough knowledge of modeling skills, preparation of written investment memorandum as well as presentation materials, and the ability to conduct independent research and make investment recommendations


• Strong written and oral communications skills and a proficiency in English a must; additional language skills will be considered a positive


• Strong commitment to complete projects on time and accurately and be able to multitask within a global deal making context


• Exceptional work ethic, capable of working in a high performing team and under pressure, professional demeanor and appearance, desire for continued learning and improvement
