Financial Data Management and Reporting Specialist

Your tasks & responsibilities

• You will act as a functional lead and data specialist of the Data Technology team, responsible for Data Warehousing, Reporting, Dashboarding and Business Intelligence at Leonteq.


• Liaison with key business stakeholders, discuss strategy, vision, roadmap for data warehouse and BI and ensure buy in from key stakeholders


• Steer the future development of the datawarehouse and business intelligence platform from a data-functional perspective


• Work closely with business to understand requirements and business processes involved


• Analyze key data needs, data flows, key data issues, propose robust reliable solutions


• Steer the future development in the Market Data, Reference Data, Static data area (contribute to Master Data Repository design)


• Have a solid understanding about Financial Data, banking, structured products to act as contact partner for business users and ad hoc requests

Our requirements

• Solid understanding of Finance and banking


• Solid understanding and insight into data and reporting needs in financial industry, more specifically structured products


• Experience with Business Intelligence (one of the main tools such as powerbi, tableau, sisense, qlickview, …)


• Experience with Data warehousing (Preferably Oracle, SQL server or another Relational Database solution)


• An interest in new data technologies such as noSQL, document databases, object databases, Kafka, Spark, … is a plus


• Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling techniques from a user perspective


• Knowledge of SQL, other technologies (OLAP, …) are a plus


• Strong problem solving skills and ability to find creative solutions


• Excellent communication skills, strong soft skills and interpersonal skills


• Fluency in English
