We are seeking for our Global Technical Applications Department, located in Lausanne, Switzerland, a

 

Technical Application Specialist.

 

Reporting to the Manager Global Applications, DB & Plant IT Operations, the Technical Application Specialist will be responsible to ensure the technical availability and maintenance of our main identified production applications.

She/ He will act as a central actor for day-to-day coordination and tracking of the operations and for the change management activities. She/ He will lead the activities related to technical architecture design and documentation and new technologies.

 

In this mission , you will:

• Provide guidance and coaching to the team members with less seniority & external partners;


• Act as change manager for changes affecting the systems managed by the team;


• Consolidate and report operational KPIs to the team manager and establish plans to improve them;


• Coordinate the day to day management of the technical operations;


• Coordinate team actions to improve new or existing systems compliance setup;


• Lead the reviews of new platform technical architecture design;


• Lead innovation technology watch, document new technology business cases, implement proof of concept and define design to integrate new technologies in the technical application management landscape;


• Document and maintain system technical architecture documentation;


• Document and maintain technical designs and standards for middleware technologies;


• Provide global technical application support;


• Ensure applications systems availability (ERPH. SAP, BO, basis, Netweaver, …);

Desired Profile :

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.


• 7 to 10 years’ experience in similar positions in an industrial and international environment. A pharma industry experience is an asset. A robust experience in SAP and/or M3 is expected.


• Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to interact at all level of the organization;


• Proficiency in English, French would be a plus.
