Regional Strategic Account Manager Life Science


 


Overall Objective


The Regional Strategic Account Manager Life Science is part of the global Life Science team. The purpose of the role is to manage and grow the biggest Agility Life Science account in certain regions of the world, next to gaining new customers in the Life Science arena through selling existing and proven Freight Forwarding and Supply Chain Solutions.


Responsibilities


After the initial period of training and getting used to the company philosophy, develop, design, implement, communicate and maintain a dedicated Life Science commercial plan in line with the Global life Science strategy. The first year focus areas are: 



  • Business development. Strategic selling to new customers. Building a broader and deeper pipeline.

  • LS Account Management. This maybe existing accounts that need deep sell within Europe region +/- contributing as a team member to larger accounts for specific elements of Expertise. 

  • Develop new, manage and grow existing Life Science accounts in the region, utilizing consultative selling techniques to customize services in complex, multiple-level decision making environments, in line with Global Life Science Strategy, to actively increase revenue and profit in the Life Science vertical, in the region.

  • Establishes and maintains long-term strategic relationships that typically go beyond the sale of a single point solution. Develops and implements solutions which integrate products and services. Achieves results through effective project proposals, negotiations, and contracts.

  • Effectively navigates the customer’s political and hierarchical structure, establishing himself or herself as a trusted advisor at multiple levels, up to officer level.

  • Contributes to the planning process for the integration of Global accounts. Ensures and oversees the development of Service Level Agreement (SLAs), Statements of Work (SOWs) and Standard Operations Procedures (SOPs) as applicable.

  • To take responsibility for on boarding of new business, using on boarding resources made available through the region or enterprise.

  • Meet with and maintain close links with related internal business segments, relevant Life Science associations and regulatory authorities, on regular basis

  • Prepared to travel internationally for 40% or more, plannable and in accordance with structured agenda.

  • Demonstrates the highest ethical standards and customer care, exemplifying Agility’s values, as well as commitment and results-orientation, strives to maximize account performance and achieve growth targets
