Supervisor Production Planning and Control

In this role you will responsible for slot-, capacity- and workload- planning for Engine Services, which includes the evaluation of customer requests in terms of the defined planning duties (slot, capacity, scheduling, modification planning, ad-hoc requests), the confirmation of slots and TAT (turn around time), covering the workflow during engine shop visits.

Your tasks



  • Plan engine shop visits in coordination with all CoE and departments within agreed turnaround time targets and part repair work scopes.

  • Guarantee for all employees a workplace that meets all Safety, Health and Environmental rules, regulations and requirements.

  • Guarantee quality of workmanship in accordance with all applicable SRT and Airworthiness Authorities rules and regulations at all times.

  • Correct and permanent update of the available resources, infrastructure and personnel for engine maintenance with reporting tools.

  • Ensure delivery and reporting of all information needed for planning and Production in order to assure frictionless planning jointly with Production and to secure the feasibility during service delivery.

  • Ensure internally aligned communication with Account Management to reflect and manage customer requests.

  • Manage and maintain all slot & capacity data in ERP Systems including reporting on slots, capacities, TAT and critical path.

  • Close cooperation with Account Management and Production to ensure permanently updated reflection of customer requests.

  • Deployment and management of projects across planning to ensure transparent and proper planning data and timely detection of risks and opportunities.

  • Lead on slot management providing and preparing information for smooth decision taking in order to achieve optimized slot & capacity usage whilst targeting best-fit of customer requests.

  • Assemble, maintain, train and review the team required to perform on the above accountabilities within organizational boundaries.

  • Use Continuous Improvement as the process to achieve all targets.


Your profile



  • Technical apprenticeship is a requirement

  • Further management education highly desired

  • >2 years of professional work experience in leadership role, with profound knowledge of function related processes and ability for continuous improvement, lead and train team is essential

  • > 5 years of professional experience, preferably in MRO industry, with significant understanding of operational activities

  • Professional work expertise applying Lean Six Sigma

  • Project Management skills will be considered as an asset

  • Fluency in English at level B2 and German at level C1 or higher
