As a member of our Infrastructure/Platform Consulting, you will be part of our client facing team and play an active role in delivering infrastructure and cloud solutions to our customers.

As an Infrastructure/Platform Consultant, you will assist with designing, installing, and configuring enterprise technology architecture, typically for Microsoft Dynamics 365 on-premises or Azure cloud solutions. These components include security, availability/fail-over, infrastructure/platform for OS, compute, storage, database, network and authentication, as well as operations for all these and for Application Lifecycle Management, typically in Microsoft or multi-vendor environments. This role relies on professional knowledge and direct oversight to help design and implement Avanade solutions for clients.

• Participate, with direct oversight, in all phases of Avanade projects (Plan, Analyze, Design, Build and Test)


• Support developing or modifying Infrastructure/Platform solutions within designated computing environments


• Assist in defining and establishing information technology operations, processes, procedures and toolsets to manage and maintain requirements specified for a solution


• Support Infrastructure/Platform project deployment efforts as directed on projects


• Support systems integration testing, component integration testing, and user acceptance testing


• Provide support to all project change management efforts as directed by more senior team members and change specialists

Your qualifications.

• You are likely to possess a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar degree; equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for degree


• You are likely to have some experience in systems engineering and/or infrastructure work, including relevant training and education


• Knowledgeable in several of the following areas: infrastructure solutions and platforms (especially Microsoft), cloud technologies, networking, data center operations, platform migration, and enterprise directories


• Knowledgeable about operation management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations


• Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows Server 2012, Azure and/or Office 365, Windows 10, Mobile Device Management, Dynamics 365 (CRM and/or ERP)


• Prior project and/or consulting work preferred but not mandatory


• Rigor in executing all work tasks


• Openness to learn rapidly changing technologies


• Ability to interact with external stakeholders


• Good communications and presentations skills


• Be fluent in French and solid written and verbal English skills


• Be willing and able to travel as much as is required by the needs of our customers and our business
